A browser cannot read the Windows build on your PC. Run winver and enter the result manually to reach the right release-health page.
Protect your files first
Back up important files when possible. If the drive is encrypted, locate the BitLocker recovery key before recovery changes. Stop if storage appears to be failing or this is a work or school managed PC.
Use the tool
On the affected Windows PC, press Windows + R, type winver, and press Enter. Read the version and OS build from the dialog.
How to interpret the result
The same error may require a different response on a different release. Use winver on the affected PC, then check Microsoft release health and OEM support.
Protect your data
This tool reads the values you enter in your browser. It does not connect to your PC, execute a command, upload a dump, or collect a recovery key. Keep passwords, product keys, and serial numbers out of public search fields.
